Best case scenario for Russia

It becomes part of European Union 🇪🇺 in few years like what happened to Germany after ww2. My theory on how this can happen: 1. Russia either stops or keep the war in stalemate 2. Putin loses support 3. Far left leader comes in power 4. It becomes closer to EU and US 5. NATO withdraws troops from eastern command 6. EU proposes Russia to join the bloc to preserve their energy interests 7. Referendum in Russia to partially join Eurozone

The best scenario for everyone is that russia disappear as a country

Microsoft oh_bill Jan 1, 2023

why?

Meta gtmt30 Jan 1, 2023

Because everything what russia does during own history is destroy other nations and suppress own population.

Russia can’t join EU in current state. It’s a union of multiple heterogeneous groups held together by authoritarian power. If you remove authoritarian power verticals you get it partitioned into multiple independent states. Now these states might eventually join EU.

The only comment on this post who knows anything about Russia. OP should at least once see Russia on a map or read a history book or two before coming up with dumb ideas. It’s like saying why doesn’t China become a part of Japan.

Apple crazymule OP Jan 1, 2023

That’s not an option which Russia would choose. It’s the same fate as USSR and the the current war (losing ground) My scenario suggests no losing of any grounds to any country

It will be decades before Russia can join civil society

Xaxis Kerchoff Jan 1, 2023

Let me give you the answer - in 2023 the cost of living increases significantly due to gas prices Riots will break out in various Euro countries Countries will also be fed up with Zelensky constant begging and propaganda Euro countries renegotiate with Russia UK and US remain holdouts while every other countries resume business Ukrainians have enough under Zelensky and push for countrywide referendum 80% Ukraine merges back with Russia A 20% holdout gets created under Zelensky and is recognized by US, UK and Israel

Rivian CyberPunk$ Jan 1, 2023

Have you seen where gas prices are as of today?

Apple crazymule OP Jan 1, 2023

Ya not going to happen due to gas ⛽️ as Russia is not the only gas producing nation and it needs India and China to balance out
