Google recruiter said she had “good and bad news”
Looking at the KIA K5, Tesla model 3, Miata, Camry TRD, Hyundai Elantra N, not sure what to buy tho. Any suggestions? Dont have a super long commute either, about ~30 mins but I also take the train/shuttle half the time. base - 130k, have about 60k saved up. Also wanna preface that I want a car that’s decently fun to drive but not super expensive
A used Toyota with 60k~ miles.
Second hand Camry/Accord, with not more than 50k on it Edit: I read this question and immediately started writing the answer and by the time I hit the Post button, there are already two more answers opting for Camry/Toyota. Hope you got your answer.
1 year of driving experience or work? Either way, used Corolla.
I’ve been driving since high school lol, have been driving an accord since then
Model 3. Is a great deal right now, and just redesigned. With the new rules, may be eligible for $7500 tax credit soon too.
Of all the Camry trims, why the TRD?
TRD has no meaning unless it’s slapped onto a Tacoma or a 4Runner. A sedan with better handling is still a body rolling sedan.
If OP wants a cushy luxury sedan that is reliable, better off with a Lexus LS500h, certified used 2-3 years old is a great deal Sporty car that's a good daily driver, the new Model 3 Performance especially since it's eligible for $7500 rebate
Model 3 has a great deal and if you have a charger at the company it’s gonna save you a bunch of money
why does yoe have anything to do with car selection? strange
Certifies Pre owned Toyota prius
Had the almost same situation 3 years ago. Bought Camry at that time and never regretted that decision.
Would you suggest the TRD? Or a different model?
To be honest, was not sure what TRD was. I looked it up and it looks like Toyota Racing Development? If yes, then I don't think that is needed if you are just going to be using it for commuting. I bought the lowest available rim at that time and since then have been using it for ~40 mins commute one way and have almost been to 4-5 long trips in a year since then. Never needed any extra maintenance.
