Two years in TCS NA as a software engineer. Team made me switch technologies as if I was working in subway making sandwiches. By the time I completed learning React JS they made me work for 2 months and shifted me to working on Appian BPM tool. Salary is still the same :( . No updates on raise yet. Should I try for other companies? I have a recruiter who reached out to me from Capital one but I am not confident on my skill set to justify. I started Leetcode practice from today. Can anyone guide me on how to crack interviews when you have working knowledge of the technology? I would really appreciate if someone can mentor me through the process :D Also lastly I am thinking of learning Salesforce/ low code tools recently. Is this a better option if I am weak in coding? Thanks! YOE: 2 TC: 70k #swe #engineering #faang
Just keep grinding and interviewing. Even knowing about the importance of LC puts you ahead.
Thanks ! I will do that. Trying to practice it everyday. Hope to see some good results in the interview π
DM if you are interested. I am hiring SDEs
If youβre already working on a bpm tool, you could give a try to learn Pega
Just started learning Appian recently. Previously I was working on developing web apps using react. Honestly I am not enjoying working on Appian. I am not sure if learning Pega would be a good thing since the demand for it here in USA isn't much. But thanks for the advice though π
Just LC and move on from TCS.
Yep realized it late but will spend my time efficiently from now on. π©
Which country?
France obviously
Get an offer first, then ask what to do.
Appian is a good tool. Get some experience in it and jump. I would say, as long as you crack the interview you should be good for the role. When i interview people i will ask level 6 questions for level 4 or level 5 job. You should be good to work if you change even with 1 yeo
Thanks ! I will definitely try to prepare using that approach. I live here in US and I feel that the demand for Appian isn't much. The companies now a days are looking for someone having 5+ years of experience in Appian π. In that case I wouldn't stand a chance to defend my yoe.
DM me, I'll help you
Hey thanks! Will DM you for sure π€
Get out from tcs as early as possible
True. It's a good company but I someone who's looking for growth both in salary and learning experience and TCS doesn't seem to fit well π₯²
TC is 70k per month ?
Oh really?!
Per year
