Long term/short term capital gain and loss

Hi All, I had some long term and short term capital loss (thanks to me panicking and selling in March). I am thinking of selling some uber stock to compensate for that. Is there an easy way to find out amount of capital gain or loss in this year from brokerage account ? I have etrade and Robinhood. Thanks #investments #tax #capitalloss

Unfortunately no; tax loss harvesting is one of the key tools missing across a lot of these platforms

I use an excel to track it and since I have accounts with different brokerages. Works well if you are not a heavy day trader, but helps with getting wholistic view of what you gains or losses are for the year

E*TRADE does have an option that shows you Gains/Losses in the desktop browser view

It does show overall loss/gain but no understanding of long term or short term iirc.

Excel sheet is not a good option for me as I have 100s of transactions

They don't calculate short and long net within the platforms? Combine the numbers across platforms with a spreadsheet.
