I am having interview with Rakuten singapore to mid level SWE, can you guys suggest some topics that they may ask? And also how is the compensation there? How much to expect on a 5yoe java position? Is 100k posible? Crr TC 70k, 5 yoe #rakuten #singapore #swe
According to Nodeflair, a mid level developer at Rakuten Asia can go up to SGD 8,000 (Android) and SGD 9,875 (iOS), both monthly. If your salary reaches $144,000 anum, you can apply for long-term visitor pass (LTVP) for your parents.
Not per annum mate. It has to be 12k sgd as fixed monthly salary to be able to call your parents on ltvp. They dont count it as annually. say your base was 120k + 30k guaranteed bonus it wont work

How can a base 96k can go up to 144k mate? It's so much

Ah yes, and what is the average compensation for a mid-senior swe in singapore? I saw the report of nodeflair to be about 7k-9k5, but it's for 2021, which is before the inflation this year

Currently based in Vietnam, but I applied to Rakuten Singapore
Expect 7-8k SGD per month from them. Not too great but not too shabby. Also expect 2-3 months salary as year end bonus. Rakuten mobile pays less while Viki pays little more
