The Trade Desk ESPP and RSUs
TTD peeps, what's the ESPP discount? Also, anyone know what's the typical ratio of RSUs vs base salary when looking at TC? Maybe there's no relationship and varies widely by position?? I'm hoping to join the TTD team and trying to get a bit more insight on TC and benefits. I already know the salary range for the position I'm looking at (non-tech). Thanks.
Espp discount is 15%. When you start you'll lock in a price for 2yrs and the discount will be applied to that. Then there's a new offering period after every 2 years. Pretty solid deal because say you started when the stock was at $30 with the 15% discount it'll be $25.5 and you get to buy up to 20k/year. Each offering period of 2 years stretches across 3 calendar years so you effectively get to put in 60k to buy at $25.5 and after a 6 month hold, can sell for likely large gain (currently near $70). I think the ratio of equity to TC varies a lot by position. I can say that bonus % varies by level of seniority. DM me if you'd like a referral.
