Lay me off instead!

I’m not on a visa, and I want 20 weeks of base pay, and would gladly lose my job for it. Why can’t these companies offer buyouts to everyone instead, I would take it in a heartbeat, and those who want their jobs keep them TC :- 130k YOE :- 2
