Just got a job offer from a large non-FANG company. They asked if I can start in October, but I want to start in December. Can that be possible or even asking that would be insulting? TC: 375

Tell them you put in notice with current employer and they politely requested your stay until December. Ask them if that is agreeable. If not, start on your planned start date.
