Why I’m Backing President Trump
I currently have an iPad Pro 12.9” and Apple Pencil that I use solely for notes and reading ebooks but it’s ridiculous toting this thing around and holding a textbook size screen up to read in bed. Kind of want an S Ultra with S Pen but my wife and family are Apple cultists. What’s good for reading and writing that can sync to my phone and computer?
Palm Pilot
I looked around quite a bit last year and considered galaxy ultra tab too, however eventually ended up going with IPad mini. I also have a 12.9 iPad Pro btw. The reasons being: 1. The size is just perfect. You could argue that for writing it might be slightly smaller, but I think because of its portability and ease of maneuvering it around in different sitting and standing positions, it’s a great device for taking notes and jotting down thoughts. And for reading it’s almost the ideal device. 2. It’s so lightweight and can be carried in pocket too: with taking notes and reading, the weight matters especially if you are holding it for long. 3. The aspect ratio is good compared to a galaxy tab. I tried the galaxy tab 9 for a bit but it has bigger bezels and the aspect ratio was not conducive for writing unless you always held it in landscape mode. With the iPad mini regardless of landscape or portrait, it does a good job of being usable. 4. Content consumption: It’s a good device for casual content viewing too if you want something bigger than your phone. I know the iPad mini is almost 3 years old at this point, but I think it’s still a pretty useful device.
