I'm machop*ssy and I'm sick of all this political bullshit on covid-19 vaccines. I don't want to take the vaccine because I run away like a little girl because of needles. Where I'm coming from - Not anti vaxx, anti needles. Somehow you pleebs don't even know the difference. - I stay at home all this time and I'm freaking out because of new mutants in India, Brazil, UK. It will reach the US eventually. - I have bad genes and will probably die with covid-19. Bad family health history. So I'm not redneck 'bring it on'' covid-19. - I want to take vaccine but I have PTSD and trauma over needles. - I may be willing to take the vaccine but THIS IS THE ONLY TIME. Annual boosters can fuck off that's mental torture. Option A. Not take the vaccine wait for spray or tablet version. Pros: No needles Cons: ETA is end of year at best, very few companies doing research on this so likely to fail. Realistically looking at 1 to N years before these vaccines are developed. Now fucking companies want people back in office including shitty Microsoft because woah we have vaccine. Fuck u, not everyone can take your goddamn vaccine. Option B: Take single dose J&J Pros: Single dose. Cons: Limited data on how it deals with the variants, so could take it and it's effectively useless. Remember I don't want to do this again. Many quality issues at manufacturing (hopefully fixed now). Very low chance of getting blood clot, recent research suggest people with too strong immune system are at risk, and I've been dosing 4000 IU vitamin D so my immune system is strong as fuck. Logically that increases my risk of dying from J&J. Option C: Take Pfizer Pros: Lots of data points very safe. Effective against current variants (see UK data). This means I will only need this once. Cons: Its fucking TWO SHOTS. Also storage requirement increases chance of fucking things up. If for example I go for both and the stupid clinic calls me next month and say they need to redo because they left it outside the freezer I will freak out. And yes this has happened many times before! What should I do? Which option? Is there an option D? Fuck covid-19. I really wish the vaccine was never developed so everyone can suffer with me. Yeah I'm selfish, but so are you!!! #quarantine #covid-19 L63, 6 yoe, $260k
Jesus
lmao
If you can overcome your aversion, Pfizer is solid even with the first shot though two shots is definitely more effective. Otherwise, stick to Vitamin D for now, though I'm not sure if you need over 100% of the daily dose.
Stop trolling
I understand you since I’m nervous about needles too. You should be able to talk to your physician about your anxiety with vaccines & they should be able to help you. I told the doc right before vaccine that I have anxiety & I might freak out. I’ve fainted a couple of times before. They usually are nice enough to distract you. I barely felt anything. You can take a stress ball with you or just pinch yourself during the vaccine. You can also take someone with you. I got the second shot today. :)
Just close your eyes when they inject you bruh. It doesn't hurt that much
Ask for general anesthesia to be administered before the needle 😛
Smart ass....
😅 i will take it as a compliment
I am scared of needles too but trust me this shot was easy..dint feel the prick as the needle is thin. I just shut my eyes for a couple minutes while I got jabbed
Tc?
Just show her the needle and she would tell. Including last 4 digits of SSN 🤣
Even with Pfizer you might need to take a booster shot in 6-12 months
What?????
