Passed their onsite and currently team matching. Their TC ranges from levels.fyi look very lucrative (as stock price is pretty low now). Hearing mixed things about toxicity at the company now because of quarterly pips. Am I walking into a disaster? Fwiw don’t like the culture at Meta now as well. Would going to Snap be a good choice now? People from Snap need your insights! Current TC: 310k (at current stock price) Snap Level : L4 (probably 350-370k TC) #snap #meta
What level at Snap? If L4 not worth it. L5 then hell yeah.
L4
What about L5 makes it a hell yeah? The TC or is there something else like scope/visibility?
Snap will tank
Even more? Upside > downside at current prices right?
Looks like upside > downside to me, curious what MSFT has to justify
I have worked at Snap and currently at Meta. With current economy I would stay at Meta. Snap has good engineers and a cool product but it is not a good business. Meta is much more diversified, and the layoffs are seemingly gone at least for now.
Meta keeps on laying off people. Living in constant fear even though I am getting a good rating :(
Quarterly pips? Why go then? Amazon is at least better in that regard to the best of my knowledge
Snap is already down, and going farther down
Elaborate
Follow their stock, earnings, revenue! It tells you the whole story
What team/org?
How long after onsite did it take you to start team matching
Fifo, you should stay. Meta supposedly has 1 more round so tbh if you survive that you are probably good
Stay. Who uses snap ?
750M MAU and steady growth, esp overseas. I do not work at Snap, so I'm not biased, that seems like a healthy userbase
Ya but what’s the future? How many business units they have? Meta has multiple. In this market not sure if snap is a good choice. May be 2021 was a better time for it
