Hosting personal projects

Hi all! I wanted to know how you all host your personal projects and what would you recommend for my scenario. I have a bunch of apps (portfolio, automation bots, some dashboards etc etc). I used to host the UI in netlify but now trying out vercel as I'm learning nextjs. For the backend, i used to use digitalocean and run the apps on a vps and later moved to firebase and supabase (depending on project). The problem with using firebase functions (or serverless in general) is that i cannot have a continuously running server (my bots need it) and I moved from digitalocean because it was too much to manage the whole infra just for 2-3 apps. I was thinking of using some PaaS provider, but heroku ia costly and they shut down the app frequently, digitalocean ocean app space is 5$ per app, which is expensive for me as I have some 12 apps.
