Should I buy Volvo XC 40 or Tesla?
Not sure if I am ready for fully electric car. Charging is a challenge since the apartment doesn't have one. I will have to do it at work but what if I leave current employer?.
Volvo only because Tesla wont be around long enough to service the car.

Theyâre cutting production of the model x and s, laying off people, and have a mountain of debt, $900 million of which is coming due in a few months. Interest rates are rising and debt is becoming more expense to service. Oh, and they canât turn a profit and have bet the company on the model 3 which they can barley build profitably. Hyperbole.

Tesla : I too worried about the charging anxiety, but Iâm here to tell you that you probably wonât worry about it after the first week, max. After that youâll realize that itâs actually a lot like having a regular car. When there are so many superchargers available and you get 310 miles of range, itâs honestly not something youâll worry about for long (Anecdotal, but itâs backed by feedback from a lot of other EV owners) I charge for free at work every day, Round trip commute is about 90 miles, Iâve only had to charge it over the weekend once or twice in the six months weâve had the car. We do have another car thatâs an ICE car, so that helps with some of the anxiety knowing we always have a back up. Are you over the age of 40 and wear cardigans with leather patches on the elbows or Swedish? Then buy the Volvo. Otherwise buy the Tesla
If you have midlife crisis or doing the needful then buy Tesla.
W/o the ability to charge at home electric car would be a PITA. As for Volvo - you don't plan to keep it after warranty expires, do you?
