How much Coffee do you consume a day?

I'm just realising that I've grown to become very dependent on coffee. It's like the difference in concentration and mood after my cup of coffee makes me feel like I'm 15 again. I know for a fact that coffee isn't good for health and I've personally felt it's downside like anxiety and other withdrawal symptoms. But It feels so good to be 10x more productive and happy by just consuming one cup. How much Coffee do you consume a day? Is it as harmful as it is portrayed to be? What are others ways I can get the benefits of caffeine without consuming caffeine? TC: 🥜 ( precisely why I want to be more productive) #diet #nutrition #miscellaneous #misc

Coffee has actually been shown to be good for you, as long as your drink it without sugar or creamers. Anywhere in between 1-3 cups a day is fine.

Bogus, poorly controlled observational studies. It does not at all seem likely that coffee is good for you. It is an appetite suppressant so I guess it might be helpful for some people who chronically over eat.

^ lol so tell us how it does not “at all seem likely that coffee is good for you”

Check Yerba mate tea , it has comparable levels of caffeine without the jitters. From a productivity standpoint it’s comparable , but the freshness and taste of coffee isn’t replicated.

Yerba is aaaamazing. Very relaxing yet at the same time energizing. It’s really no different than drinking 3-4 cups of green tea though.

+1 Yerba is between green tea and coffee caffeine level wise. Has a different nutrient portfolio so it’s a good addition once in a while.

I miss the effects of coffee. Still drink a lot of it but don't feel any different now

Take a big tolerance break and the magic will come back. I've stopped drinking coffee due to gastritis unfortunately, but I'll have a cup maybe like twice a year now and it feels like I just railed a few addys

Even if your TC is peanuts you should still list it. It’s helpful for the community and a reminder for all the non FAANG/startup/finance eng or other jobs that people make normal amount of money and live just fine
