Considering interviewing for Atlassian Currently Google L5 Software Engineer TC: 1.1 cr (Base + bonus + stocks. Excluding PF or any other components). Would they be able to match or beat this TC? Most of the recent posts suggest a salary range of 75 lakh - 1 cr for P5. I see some really high TC posts from a couple of years back but the stock has reduced by 50% from then and the company is not doing that well financially. Also how is the salary growth like? Stock refreshers? Anyone from Atlassian internally promoted or someone who recently got such an offer from Atlassian? Is this one off or sustainable long term with refreshers etc. Another way to answer this would be to ask what's the delta between internally promoted folks and these offers? If it's a lot, it's not sustainable long term (similar to one off Google L5 offers reaching as high as 1.6 cr).
Internally promoted folks generally get a base pay of 50L. Higher if your base was already close before. SSE standard refresher was 50k last year.
I see, thanks. So a TC of around 80-85 lakh or so for a newly promoted P5 with old P4 refreshers (not considering the 50% stock drop in the last couple of years). TC would peak at 1.1-1.2cr after 4 years of refreshers and reasonable base growth which is actually not higher compared to Google.
What you heard is correct. 90L-1.1Cr is the best people generally get now a days. If they give you 1.4 then it will be one off case . Maybe try for P60 if HR agrees?
Will give it a try
Please share your interview experience
If you're L5 at Google, Atlassian will probably interview you for P60, ie Principal. P60 can go upto 1.80-1.90 Cr
yoe? , Yea as per my interaction with them they can go to 1.3-1.4
6.5 yoe. Really? I didn't see such high offers. Also would this be a one off high end offer or sustainable compensation long term?
That's great TC for your YOE. Is this TC with stock appreciation?
