Women are paid more and promoted faster
Women are generally paid more and promoted faster than men in white collar jobs. It’s only when you include women working in childcare, teaching, lower-paid healthcare jobs where they dominate that the average slides below men.

Gender pay gap doesn't exist in white color jobs. It exists in blue color jobs.
If you are a manager+ who has ever been in salary discussions you will know that men scream for pay raise and increments at every chance they get. Women barely negotiate monetary benefits. Unless the company has checks in place like pay bands, just by negotiating men are going to earn more than women for the same job.
Google, anecdotes are not data. The data has repeatedly shown the delta is zero. Stop gaslighting.
