Meta stocks: 180K HYSA: 100K Other stocks: 170K Cash: 320K 401k: 145K Debt: 0 Total: 900K minus capital gain taxes The point isn’t to focus on the number but the allocation of NW. I just cashed out of Meta stock so that’s why the cash is there. TC: 440K hcol Yoe: 5 Age: 26
If you're not planning on actively managing stocks, better to go with spy index. I like to leave some 5-10% of NW in stocks I feel might go up further (META in your case) and move everything else to spy (or voo/vug etc).
Lack real estate.
Yes, I feel real estate is too pricy. Maybe I can buy real estate in lcol.
Sell meta
VOO 30% for long term VGT 30% for high growth SCHD 30% for dividends instead of HYSA (Optional) 5% crypto The rest in cash HYSA as emergency fund
If you are bullish on tech, don’t forget QQQ I put a decade of savings into VTI/VOO, now trying to build up some more tech
Move your entire cash into HYSA now. Earn that 5% interest asap.
Thanks, I agree
