I feel like everybody is miserable. Rat race, matrix, golden cage, … Call it whatever u want. But I would reconsider socialism for the real goal in life, to be happy. With everybody. All rich people do is be unhappy and spread unhappiness. I hope the great reset will happen in my lifetime. @NSA no I’m not a terrorist. TC: soon hopefully GDP/333.3mio
I wish we had actual capitalism
Why do you think socialism would make you happier? I don’t see other socialists society being any better
A strong community would make me happy. Im quite rich. Just seeing others struggle makes me extremely unhappy
Socialism doesn't bring about a strong community. It brings in misery and poverty. What volunteering work have you been doing or considering doing to improve your community?
Great reset you mean like fallout?
You can choose not to do rat race anytime. Unlike socialism where you have no choice
Socialism isn’t “Make everybody happy”. It’s a different model where the workers own the means of production. It still has problems, and actually introduces a lot of counter productive incentives. We just need to change capitalism a little bit, not throw it away.
I’ve lost hope in incremental change, just too slow and rich people get around it faster.
I think the point is that the workers always own the means of production.
Capitalism sucks, but there is no other viable alternative... What ya going to do 🤷
Clearly you never been to South America. You should take a look at what socialism looks like when implemented. I'd take capitalism every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
stupid take. There are many things at play in our system and one would be hard pressed to call it "capitalism". Others have coined the term "crony capitalism" or "corporatism" which I think is more accurate. The largest corporations are in bed with politicians and government, so we're not really operating in a free or fair market. Also, if the rich are miserable it's because they are human and have problems like the rest of us, not because they're rich. This is not college anymore, please grow up and dispense with your naive, adolescent, cookie cutter takes.
Idk I’m pretty rich and also pretty happy
