What do you think?
Bad money management to give up free money from matching
True up?
Assuming you'll be here in March
This is a valid strategy for some people. As long as you have an emergency fund and aren’t going into debt to front load you are fine.
This seems too risky, especially since you’re putting off today for a tomorrow that may never come. Maybe it’s because I’m low TC, but I’d never be able to survive on that amount of money unless I went back to living with my parents and cooking every day—which is a terrible existence and something I had to work hard to get out of. TC: 105K
Looking at the world right now it is not sensible to plan for a tomorrow.
Just save as much as you can - everyone starts from somewhere : ) No one should do this unless they have $25-50k in their HYSA.
Are you doing a MBDR + maxing out your HSA?
C1 doesn’t allow that, don’t have/want HSA Just Roth 401k
Hmm.. okay. I'm curious how you're only left with that little then. The ROTH 401K limit is only $23,000. Are you front loading for the 3-5 months until you max out? If so, what's next? Why are you intentionally missing out on the match?
Take home a little more so you can afford a charger
Best comment - Blind is brutal 🤣
My net pay for the first 3 months were 0. Top that😀
4 months here! Two more paychecks and the kids will be able to eat again.
Please charge your phone. It’s giving me anxiety.
it’s May. how are you still “front loading”?
You don’t know when I joined 😉
