You will be handsomely rewarded if you can spell the words Cleveland Clinic. If you are going to take an interview try to do some research on Cleveland clinic and sprinkle it around the interview you’ll get the job and be treated well by the mere mention of the name.
The entire finance team is controlled by ex employees from Cleveland clinic in the past year. Most senior leadership meetings goes by saying how great their old organization was and how they so want MSKCC to become like it. I’m pretty new to MSKCC and I was surprised that they would show slides pointing out how bad MSKCC is compared to Cleveland clinic in various metrics. Not sure how HR or marketing would react if they saw this presentation. Leadership needs to understand every organization is different and there is no one size fits all approach. MSKCC survived and thrived for decades and will do so for decades to come. So no one needs finance leadership to lecture about changing mskcc culture. Try respecting non ClevelandClinic employees and take their input as well. Endless meetings and constant surveys about how you are doing does not change the fact that people are miserable. HR folks if you are reading this please try to do something to help us from these people. Not all of us have the Option to move jobs that quickly. There is rampant favoritism here. Try to see if new hires can come from else where .
