What are the best options to sell my car? I’m trying to sell my 2017 bmw 440i grancoupe. I did go to bmw sales but looks like they are lowballing me? Is Carvana or Cargurus any better? Can anyone share their experiences? TC: 190k YOE: 5
Lol why are you asking? Just price it out!!
Sold my model 3 on carvana back in November for more than I paid for it, their offers are almost always better than dealer.
Vroom
Simple Craigslist ad, KBB value + 3000$ should be starting one. You can round it off to nearest 5k
Try trade in if you are planning to buy one. That way you get most benefit. I traded in my VW for Tesla Model Y and got best rate and tax benefit !
Check the estimated "trade-in" price from KBB, Edmunds, Autotrader and Truecar. You won't get private party (usually 5-15% more) from an auto-buying service. Ensure you don't get ripped off. Go to all the new-ish auto chains that offer to buy your car and gets offers. Take the best one as long as it's not ridiculously low compared to the trade-in price estimate. Carvana, Gargurus, Carmax, Vroom, whatever is in your area. If you're looking at getting a new car, do a trade-in for your car as long as they don't lowball you on their final offer (they will definitely lowball you on the initial offer. play hardball). It has positive tax benefits.
Used cars are hot in market now. Price it out in both and pick the best one. I liked CarGurus though.
Carvana and Vroom should beat the dealer (both did so for my family). Also try Carmax.
+1 Carmax. They offered the highest out of the 3 when I sold my car.
