I think everyone is starting to feel the pinch. The sad thing is no one knows when this is going to end. That's the most frustrating part.
Seems to have gotten better in other countries. The reason it's not getting any better here in USA is that people don't take it seriously and go out as if everything is so normal.
Literally mainly western countries are doing the lockdown. My mother is from Nigeria and father is from Carribbean, not one country in those areas are mandating lockdowns. As well as the Baltic, Slavic, Latin America and certain oceanic countries. It's the media creating unecessary panic.
The office was never a place of socialization for me. I'd say this isolation is hurting my mental health, sure, but WFH isn't the key. WFH has been a blessing honestly. Screw offices.
❤️
Agreed, screw offices. I need to save for an airstream for sure
I miss the social side of the office, you learn a lot about what’s going on in the business and build connections.
not nearly as much as catching covid would
COVID-19 and Trump are hurting America’s mental health.
Don't forget the media. I barely watch the news these days.
Specially if you watch Fox News
Wow more ppl hate it
That wasn't the question
I like working from home. I have a comfortable home office. I work similar hours as before, then put my computer to sleep and walk away. No commute is great.
Longer hours with WFH but after Covid I can support 2 days WFH and 3 in office. Reminded recently how easy it is to stay connected with messaging (respond on my own time) versus when in office rarely any respect for being on call or ad hoc meetings or walk by dumping assignments.
You kidding me? The office was bad for my mental health. Now of course, living in quarantine is no fun and other aspects of isolation are definitely hurtful to mental health. But WFH itself is great.
Lol. "definitely hurtful to mental health". "you kidding me?" "Wfh is great"

The extended working hours and no line between home and work is certainly hurting
Is this really new for anyone? Ex banker here, I’m used to working 70+ hours per week
Well it kinda is, we didn’t sign up for tech roles for 70+ hours per week
