Mercedes Benz GLC 43 Class AMG 2019 (used with 17k miles, have not been in a car accident before, but had light damage - now fully repaired, 2 owners) - 50k The car was leased, that’s why it shows up as two owners. The car has very nice custom interior, wheels, and upgraded engine. I also got full warranty at a dealership like prepaid maintaince, salon coverage, engine coverage etc. The new AMG GLS 43 2021 costs about 90 grand. I grew up in poverty and wanted to celebrate my new TC increase. Not planning to FIRE, love working and will work until 65-70+ TC: 275 YOE: <2
What kind of accident? Why three owners already?
Low-to moderate front damage, fully repaired. I am not sure why 3 owners?
Dude. No.
I have never bought a car and in fact got my license today. Can you explain why not? I loved the car
As others have pointed out: Accident. You'll be the fourth owner. Etc.
Ask for 40k
3 owners are a red flag.
Bad history. Run away. Personally I would get a new car instead any day.
Toyota or Honda first car. Celebrate through other way instead of depreciating asset. Will also help ensure your progeny don't deal with poverty.
“Fully repaired” LOL. Poor OP is the sucker the car dealers love.
Never buy a luxury European car. The maintenance costs are crazy.
Just lease a new one, lots of red flags, accident, too many owners for the mileage… it will be hard to sell it later too
Lol 3 owners and been in a crash before with only 17K miles? Jeez, buy something better than that, I'd run a mile.
What’s the thought process behind it? I don’t care if it had like 9 owners or been to an accident as long as it fully repaired. What am I not understanding?
Generally speaking, many owners in a short period of time on a car like this is usually a red flag. Even if you don’t care, if you want to sell the car, the people you’re trying to sell to will care. Sure, maybe they repaired the exterior and maybe even the full body work is completely rebuilt to be as new (very very very unlikely). There’s a high chance that the damage is structural throughout the full vehicle and it doesn’t drive the same way it did or issues that you don’t see or notice until you drive it daily. Maybe the car doors don’t fit properly and there’s wind noise, etc
