A lot of my single friends no longer get physical with guys, especially in dating apps.. seems like everyone has the same story, been burned by a guy and have now sworn off physical contact.. is this common? Do men find it harder to get action now? Also, the new bumble ad mentions celibacy is not the answer.. so it got me thinking, is this a common trend ?
One of my wife’s co-worker is single (age 34). She goes thru phases 1. Active in dating app, meet guys, play hookie 2. Get dejected, swear off dating app 3. Miss validation from guys, feel depressed 4. Go back to (1) In the last 3 yrs this co-worker has rotated thru the cycle 3 times. Each time she gets played by some guy
Not surprised. Most guys on there are married or already in realtionships
Absolutely not true. I’m certain they’re just lying as the guy they’re having sex with.
It’s a known genZ thing. https://www.businessinsider.com/gen-z-women-abstaining-sex-celibacy-dating-hook-up-culture-2023-4
GenX and Millennials too
Women are much less dependent on sex than men. Also they are much better at being alone and happy.
@tsx151 Do you have a source for that?
Would recommend you form your worldview by extensive experiences in the real world There are studies saying that there are less percentage of women in their 40s and 50s who seek a relationship than men. Makes sense. The drive is reproduction not sex.
Yeah I think so. Idk about the story reasoning. For me it’s more like I just only like sex once I really like someone and realized that for me happiness is sex: With a guy I like >>>>>> myself >>>>>>>>>>>>>> some man I’ve spent less than 10 hours total with in my whole life
They just won't tell you while they keep getting railed by the fuckbois. Don't believe what women say, they easily make up all lies, especially the ones on dating apps.
Are there any single women who are not on dating apps?
Many are, most people don't like dating apps, it's not at all a natural way of meeting people.
