How come we’ve only heard about a handful of these individuals? Is the MSM hiding something? 🤔👇🏽
Some of these things are not like the others!
What do they share in common? Are any of them normal turned mad the next day?
Why would anybody put their pictures up. You are a part of the problem
Because the media only puts up certain photos that fit their narrative and then talk about 250 mass shootings while only focusing on VERY specific criteria.
Many of these classified as mass shootings are gang related. I doubt many people feel sorry when a gang member shoots and kills rivals. The ones bubbling up to a news story are when a large number of innocent people get gunned down senselessly.
I think is a strong manipulative operation to try and divide us. The media mostly concentrates on white supremacy, etc. While in reality, such mass shootings are happening with every race. While I can't oppose guns completely because I respect people's right to the second amendment. There should be some efforts to regulate semi-automatic weapons, assault weapons. I was reading that on the Texas shooting the guy was able to injure over 30+ people in one minute that the police got there. As individuals, as a society, extremisms divide us - we need to work together and be willing to help each other. I strongly support background checks, not selling guns to the mentally ill, etc. We don't want that to happen next to a person we care about
Genuine question: can you define assault weapon?
I honestly don’t know much about guns but then I came across this and it really changed my perception on “assault rifles”.
Mostly black and some white. No Asians. Mostly men. That is my conclusion.
What they almost all have in common - Thier use and access of social media. Firearms have been here since before the country was founded. Mass shootings in America is by no means a new phenomenon, but it is happening with increasing frequency. Ask yourself why? Im my humble opinion, social media apps, like Facebook, are (were) fantastic, but literally every second or third post in my feed is some biased political article that talks about Trump, racism, guns, or horrible liberals / evil republicans. And most of the comments are nothing short of vile. If one only gets thier “news” from Facebook orbthe variety of internet “news” sources, one gets a very skewed perception of what’s happening in the world. And if you are three slices short of a full loaf of bread, thats dangerous. My ranting point here: We have changed, more specifically, how we communicate with each other has changed; and I beleive this directly correlates to the willingless of some to pick up arms and indiscriminately kill people. (or discriminately kill in the case of El Paso).
Networks and the media have been proactively refusing to show the faces of these criminals because it idolizes the horrible act they have committed. The media have been very conscious about focusing on the survivors and showing condolences to those affected by the crime. I personally think it's the right thing to do. Don't spread these criminals faces around the internet please. It gives these criminals the satisfaction.
Completely untrue. If the shooter is a Trump supporter and especially if white, they show the photos for days because it fits a very specific narrative. None of the others are shown because they don’t fit the narrative the Media is trying to push.
It also seems like you have a very specific narrative you're trying to spam this thread with lol
The media doesn’t want to make a big deal out of shooting unless the shooter was white as you can see here
May be most of them are not “hate crime@
Nope, that’s not it either because there were hate crimes that weren’t covered if the shooter had a political ideology on the left and/or was a Muslim.
They do not deserve any recognition or airtime.
Strange, if they’re white and ever expressed support for Trump rather than Hillary, we see wall to wall coverage by the MSM for days. 🤔
I don't agree with that either. Not about politics - these criminals need to be locked away and treated like the inconsequential pieces of $hit that they are. When it comes to what needs to be done to prevent it, it gets polarizing and political. Don't really want to debate that here.
