FUD. Read the report properly. You can not look at quarterly proportions since the approved number is not off of the received applications in that quarter alone. At best you can look at YTD numbers in last 2 columns. Even that data is not conclusive.
Is that a lot or a little??
Not matching as projected in media.
It's a lottle
Nobody is targeting Indians specifically, you guys did it to yourselves by coming in droves to the US. The law establishes equal caps for all nationalities, how is that xenophobic or selective?
Not high enough. I want it to be in 80s - 90s.
I say 100 % and get it done with.
lmao you want to sink American.
Nowadays h1b workers should be filtered at 90%. Most of them are cheap labor without top skills.
Lol thats why you work in an unknown company
Hmm, that’s not true. I work for a top employer and all my direct reports are H1B’s. May be that’s what Fox News told you.
👏👏👏👏
Does the unused quota get recaptured for next year’s lottery?
Nope.
My understanding is that most people got denied because there is no quota for them. So unlike what people would like to infer from this, the news actually shows how popular H1Bs are.
OP..2018 numbers are definitely on the higher side but not excessive compared to previous years.. .check the below. https://cis.org/sites/default/files/2018-04/All_Forms_2017.pdf https://cis.org/sites/default/files/2018-04/All_Forms_2016.pdf
Is this supposed to be considered high or low?
Good
Why is this good? Genuine question ..
Those that are already here stand to make more money.
