Hi, Blinders!
A friend of mine is an architecture and is going through a tough time at her workplace.
This is her first corporate job and she feels that she is bombarded with a lot of stuff to do.
It's not as bad as it sounds but still is a bit too much for her.
Hers is a small company and they don't have facilities such as an HR department to talk to.

She works hard, long times, and take her work very seriously.
But now, she feels it's too much and is having second thoughts about architecture field (about which she is very passionate)

What should she do?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

She already took all of hers. She recently went for honey moon and exhausted her vacations.

This is not about taking a short break.

What is the long term solution to this problem.

    • This is something only she can figure out, there is no one size fits all solution to this.

I'm in the same boat for different reasons. But am thinking of quitting and traveling for a year.

Kick the can down the road so I can freak out when I have no money left but a wealth of useless experiences

When I was at a smaller company, I went through all the gauntlets they offered. After gaining experience, I headed out the door for new pursuits.
