AMZN L7 Sr Manager, Product Management

I received an offer to join Amazon as an L7 Sr Manager, Product Management. The expectation is to build a team but understand that this may take time due to a headcount freeze. Offer is as follows: Target Comp: $330 a year for first 2 years RSU: 450 shares vests over 4 years Base Salary: $152 Does anyone know where this sits within the L7 band? Is this considered a strong offer?

This looks like an L4/L5 offer at Google. Where is L7 in terms of percent of technical staff?

This is a non tech role if that is what you are asking.

L7 at Amazon is google l6

@ Cblpintast - L7’s are about 6-8% of AmaZon @ imaws- It’s a great offer (esp 450 RSU’s) towards the higher end of L7. Is your 330 K for first 2 years inclusive of RSU’s that will be vested in that time?

It had to be, right? The base there doesn't go that high.

Do you already work at Amazon? Are you asking about an internal move?

Amazon imaws OP Feb 20, 2018

Potentially. Are you hiring on your team?

I come from automotive... what happens after 4 years? At that point You will be fully vested in your initially offered RSUs... do you get more? Or are you stuck with your base salary of “$152k”?

450 shares is a lot. Is that what you got?
