How's the culture and wlb in AWS professional services group? And how's the work for a developer consultant there. Asking as I have got an offer from them for a team they are setting up in India. Recruiter told that the role won't involve travelling except some rare occasion. Current TC:35L Yoe: 9.5

Yea that travel comment is complete BS as least in the US
You mean they lie about travel being less and the role has lot of travel, is that correct?

Usually lots of travelling is part of proserve as you are a consultant and have to go to client side, but I believe if you really want you can try and pick projects that donβt require travel. But there is no guarantee you will always get them.
