I have attended on-site interview for Cloud solution architect, did 5 rounds. I felt I did well but got rejection. They do not provide feedback,... not sure what need to improve? Any thought/pointer pls ?
Can you share details on 5 rounds? Yoe?
All rounds are based on Amazon leadership principles. In one round they have gone too deep technical with white board session. I have questions but can not share because of NDA :(
So did you have some interviews where there were no technical questions discussed and they were simply "tell me a time when you did XYZ?"
You made it onsite, so your technical ability would seem to be fine. How do you think you did on all the behavioral questions? That's likely what sank you.
Yes, I'm also of the same opinion. I'm looking for some help who can provide feedback to improve those behavior questions. Do you know any professional service who can help here ?
What questions did they ask? Did you have stories prepared ahead of time or were you trying to think of things on the spot? I've found two so far. If I make it to the onsite, I'm going to use both of them to practice behavioral questions. amazoninterview.coach interviewgenie.com
Don’t worry, they are not good at judging a candidate. Some shitty behavioral leadership principle question would have screwed you up. Try at other places.
Correct. That’s why AWS is so successful 🤣
Frankly I impressed with their interview style. I agree - it seems I need to improve my behavior interview preparation. Do you know if any link or paid service which can ask same questions and provide feedback...
