Hello Everyone, First time poster long time reader. I am currently in a Business Development/sales engineer role. I want to transition into the end user side of things. Issue is that companies see me as a sales guy vs an engineer who does sales. Any advice?

You have more chances when you get certified. Also start talking more to engineers in your company so they could vouch for your technical skills.
