Airbnb RSUs
Recently accepted an offer with Airbnb and have a question around RSUs. Does Airbnb offer ESPP or the option to exchange the yearly cash bonus for RSUs? Also, do folks get RSU refreshers in the first year(assuming someone joins around May) TC: 220K
ESPP no, that’s a public company thing. Yes you can exchange up to 25% of the yearly cash bonus for RSUs. Yes you will get a full refresher as long as you join before September.
When is the performance review time for bonus/refreshers?
refresher at beginning of year. bonus given twice a year depending on company performance
Perf review time is twice yearly (January and July). The average of those results gives the refreshers. Cash bonus is currently based on company performance, not individual performance, and is given twice yearly too. That’s all new and could change though.
