Amazon Fire TV Sr TPM opportunity
Hi all I am currently working as a PM at Microsoft at entry level since the last 1 year and 2 months. Before that I worked at a not so famous company as an Associate PM for 8 months. I recently got approached by a hiring manager at Amazon for an opportunity as a Sr TPM in fire TV org. Looking for information on: 1. Fire TV org 2. Sr TPM role at Amazon - how technical is the role, how is the work life balance, what kind of skills? 3. I have heard at an Uber level that work life balance at Amazon is not that great, what do folks have to say about this? 4. Is sr TPM at this stage of my career considering my experience in PM till now, a good choice? 5. What are the benefits/paid leaves at Amazon like? Better or worse than Microsoft? Thanks!
60,61s going as L6 Tpm or PMT at Amazon is fairly common.
YOE? AFAIK, L6 TPM in Amazon is usually offered to people with 10+ YOE. It has a high visibility and high accountability.
Don't fret about it, they will figure out the leveling during the interview. If you get an L6 offer, great! Take it

Wow, that’s a big step up in role. Are you sure it’s a senior TPM role? You might find it difficult to keep up with expectations if you join Amazon
