Amazon Interview First round w Hiring Manager
I had interview with hiring manager couple of days ago and yesterday the status changed from Under Consideration to Application submitted. what does this mean? Did anyone have/ had similar experience? I emailed recruiter haven't received any response, Too early to reach out again?
You might have gotten recycled for another role / team.
What do you mean by another role/team? Does that usually happen? Should I trust the status page any longer ? Or wait for recruiter to get back.
Sometimes your background might fit better with another team or role. The hiring manager might refer you to that other position. Also sometimes it takes a while to get the debrief scheduled.
Just curious, what happened in the end? Did status change mean anything?

Wait for few days. Sometimes debrief gets delayed upto a week of people are busy. Recruiter may not respond during that period.
