L4 at Google/FB could make more, have better perks and culture.
Otherwise congrats on clearing sde3 loop.

Decent offer. L6 is now an inflated title and you can expect such offers.

The recruiter told me that she would pay the bonus at once in the first paycheck. Does that mean I have to add month1 and month2 bonus to my TC calculation. I am trying to understand how TC worth is calculated and shared here

Doesnt Cali have a law that recruiters have to provide TC range for the title you are getting?

What’s the difference between L5 and L6 in terms of responsibilities?

I swear I’ve been wanting to know this since I joined. Nobody cares to explain wtf l5 or l6 is? Is there some nomenclature cheat sheet somewhere? Lot of these fucks on blind don’t bother spreading some info on this..

    • Yes, there are leveling guides that explain the roles. You can search for them on the wiki. It’s helpful to look at the level above you to know what to work on.

I’m making that as an L5 in Seattle with no state income tax and lower cost of living. So seems low

90% sure that's because of stock appreciation, not your initial offer.

You were seriously offered 275k for L6? I’m pretty sure that’s where the band starts or maybe lower. What’s the breakdown of the offer?
