Amazon Music (SF) Work Culture
Recently accepted an offer from them, won't be starting for a while. Have heard it's relatively good compared to other parts of Amazon. Can anyone else share their experience working there in terms of WLB, managers, interesting work, type of people etc. ? Iβve heard itβs not the worst, but who uses amazon music?
I believe it's #3 in market share for music streaming platforms behind Spotify and Apple Music. Ahead of Google music and Pandora. So it's not like *nobody* uses it

i've worked at amazon music since 2016, and culture has gone steadily downhill as we have tripled in size. new office is technically nicer but is more crowded and anonymous. too many people on visas and not enough community building.
WLB is the same as every other Amazon office around the world. From Dallas to Irvine to New York to DC to Seattle. All the same.
