Hello all, first time posting on Blind, so please be easy on me :) So I got an offer from Amazon Seattle as software engineer 1 and here is my comp (have 1.5 years of exp at Qualcomm) Base: 120,000 Sign bonus: 45,000 over 2 years Stock: 75,000 vested over 4 years 1. Does my comp look good or should I negotiate? If I can negotiate, then how should I approach? 2. I got the offer today 8/20/19 but do you think I can start working next year in January? Thank you!!! #amazon

no I do not... does that mean I cant negotiate?
This is as high as an sde1 offer can go. Edit: so base won’t go higher but you should be able to get about 10k-15k more on signing and maybe 80k on stock.
No its not, this puts his TC at less than 150k. Band for SDE1 goes up to 173k.
Oh okok but is Amazon flexible on my start date? Next year Jan is pretty far off from now...

Same 1.5 YOE. I got base 108, 24/20 sign in, 70k stock.... couldn’t negotiate.🥺 I am debating start date too. I am thinking of December 😖

This looks good to me but the Stock is a little low for experience profs. Push for $120k to $140k
120k to 140k is for sde2 lmao
70k is for college hires. I believe 1.5 years of experience should help him negotiate for more stocks.
