I have an offer from Amazon and am still debating it as I have offers with similar bases from other places. The main thing is still wondering how often I would be working long hours. Anyone have averages to throw around? I get projects and fires can often create the long hour days but wondering if it is because those or something else. Thanks
I worked there, pretty chill org. What office will you be in? Seattle?
Yea Seattle.
Can't speak for Seattle, was in Vancouver. My team was really good, lots of smart people and good technology. Our products are also used across Amazon which is nice, and is a critical part of the company. More importantly, the people were really nice which made the work day so much better. Again, this is Vancouver so Seattle may be different.
People tech is low traffic internal stuff. You'll be fine. I'm sure it is much better than Disney.
I have an interview with people tech coming up. Can you share your experience ?
Any idea how is the PMT role and wlb for people tech/HR tech team?
What org? What role/level?
Still talking to orgs. But would be for a SDE 2 spot.
