Amazon RSU and share price

Joining Amazon in Nov. expect share price to be around $1000 by then, how is share price calculated during RSU allocation? Is it 52w avg or price at the date when one starts? TC 220

You expect it to drop to $1000? Usually they have a target share price for calculating TC. You also have a target comp that you likely don’t know what it is, and if you’re short of that you should get additional stock once a year depending on level. And of course if you’re over target, you typically get nothing. I would not expect AMZN to drop to $1000.

Short sell it if you think so and in big numbers then you dont need to join. Wtf are ppl smoking?

You can buy amzn puts at 1000 strike price for 85 cents. Buy 10k of those and if amzn goes to 1000 in Nov you’ll make about 1.2M

If you expect it to drop to 1000, don’t join. Never join a company if you don’t see its future. By the way I heard it’s moving 60 days average

You expect it to go down 42% over the next month? It's time to buy weed stocks. This guy is singlehandedly smoking the entire supply.

At that rate stock will be 100 by next year ?

Amazon has corrections from time to time. Don’t get me wrong, a bunch of us are using the share price as an excuse to drink more heavily tomorrow at beer:30. But in reality, it’ll turn around and keep going up.

Have to apologise to everyone, this $1000 thing was more of a clickbait to get people attention. Pretty sure it’s not going to fall like that. Got my RSU info tho, thanks!

Fuck off with your shitty clickbait tactic.

So how is it calculated, mind to share?

Amazon Quietroom Oct 12, 2018

I think that the value is the average of the 30 days before your offer is made. Then they calculate expected growth on top of that (something like 15-20% per year, as far as I can tell).
