Amazon SDE 2 Toronto compensation
I recently interviewed at Amazon Seattle office for SDE 2 Toronto role devices team. I did all the coding rounds with optimum solutions , answered LP questions really well and also system design round was awesome. I’m expecting the offer to come next week. I want to know what the TC range for amazon SDE 2 in Toronto... I asked for Toronto position as my opt is expiring this year , my preferred location is Seattle if my was visa was good. My current company applied H1 B this year but don’t know how long would it take to get approved and also first it must be picked in the lottery... no luck in lottery for the past 2 years :( How’s the life in Toronto working for amazon compared to Seattle ? would amazon wait for like 6 months for my H1 B approval to transfer to Amazon. I know this is a very complicated scenario but sometimes just have to go with cards that are dealt to me. Current TC 105K RTP 3 YOE

I know many devs that started in Toronto because they needed a Visa and once they got it they transferred to Seattle.
