Got an offer for a L6 SA role at AWS NYC. Curious if anyone has any feedback on what the WLB and flexibility is for these types of roles? Is there much travel? What is typical weekly hours? Are there many deadlines / periods of time crunch?
Didn’t you get a chance to ask those questions to the hiring manager and/or recruiter?
Lightly, but I’d rather get some anecdotal feedback from folks in the role (or previously in the role) as well
I feel that a lot of it really depends on the team/market. Recruiter told me no more than 25% travel. One of the phone screen interviewer said it’s way more than that for him being in Denver market. I did not ask this same question to the hiring manager coz I already prepared for the worst. I’ll be joining a team in Seattle.

Congratulations. Could you describe the interview process? I'm waiting on a hiring manager to proceed to the technical phone interview.
Mostly a discussion of experience on the phone screen. Lots of behavioral “tell me about a time” type questions. Focused a lot on leadership principles. The in person was similar. Also included a presentation and a technical system design interview.

What was the offer? I just got a TAM offer I know that SAs make more I’m curious how much. Mine 155k vase 80 RSUs 100k sign on
180k base, 120 RSU, 85k and 65k Y1-2 signon
