I used to work for MS and there we could take all Microsoft certifications for free. They were mostly useless because Microsoft tech is shitty and useless but hey ..... I like Free stuff. I will be joining Amazon soon. Does Amazon let it's employees take AWS certifications for free?
Training is at your department's discretion. They can cover the expenses for AWS certs as well as others. My department pays all my renewal fees and let's me expense learning materials. As far as company wide, if you can find a spot in an open class you can attend. Open seats are rare tho. We do have free training through a cloud guru. Amazon will only pay 50 percent of the cost for AWS certs.
If you are joining AWS, yes.
No I'm going to the Browse team.
All of amazon get 50% off, the other half I let my team expense.
Hell no!! You are not getting a dime. Do you understand FRUGALITY.
50% amount is reimbursed
There's a 50% discount code for all AWS Certifications, look it up internally on the w.amazon.com. As far as full reimbursement it depends on each org, my org reimburses the other half/50% if you pass the certification. If you fail the cert, then it's on you.
