Amazon connections score

Just to context, in amazon they run daily connections thing. It’s like stupid random question will popup on your laptop and you have to response. And in the end it reflects how good your team, teammates, or manager is as compared to amazon as whole. My manager is not doing good in terms of teammates related questions and he continuously interrogate me during our 1:1 or just gives me suspicious look. He is not doing this with anyone else. I feel these responses are shared with managers ?? What you think ?

Connections results are not anonymous.

Ask yourself if you think Bezos gives a shit about your privacy

The manager sees the results of the responses from their team. Their director also sees break downs of the results... Those questions can be taken pretty seriously -- it is something that could screw over the manager

But does manager sees which person responded what??

Oracle Numbats Jan 9, 2019

Although managers cannot see individual responses, managers can figure out individual responses. (Who was on vacation/sick? Who seems to be struggling, etc.). This also gets discussed in managers’ meetings where specific extreme responses are discussed, respondents identified, and next steps discussed. Note that these next steps are not always bad (maybe somebody did not feel appreciated, so what can you do so they feel appreciated?) but sometimes can be unfavorable.

There's always that possibility that 3 other people out 4 respondents can say - I'm always kissing your ass so it's not me and the manager can trust em. It's the same thing in forte right. So I guess you can say he can figure it out but it's definitely not shared with him.

Ohh man. Forte is a crap. Don’t know why they have it at first place.
