Amazon internal transfer
Current position involves significantly more travel than advertised. Thinking of starting a family soon so it wont be a good fit long term. This is non sde technical position. How soon can you realistically try for internal transfer at Amazon? TC 200 L5

People have transferred within a few weeks of landing at Amazon. I left my first team in < a year. Sure, your manager might be angry, but what can they actually do? Nothing, short of PIPing you. Which I really doubt they would if you are that new. Team and position mismatches are a thing, and Amazon wants to keep those they hire. Your well-being > the company
