I have Been told to prepare a 45 min case study presentation for a bunch of amazo in UX folks and followed by questions on it. Can any one tell me how this presentation and Q&A gonna be. This is my first time presenting my Ux work to bunch of other Ux folks. Kind of nervous already . I have been also told about 5 individual interviews would be there after that. Can you guys please share some experiences on it !? Any information is appreciated Thanks
Happy to look at your deck. Study up on the Leadership Principles and point to examples where you can. Reviewers are looking for a few key things: - What results did you deliver personally? - Do you have examples of navigating process on your own? - Did you set goals early on? / What were the outcomes? - What do you do when you disagree?
Thanks
Also... Do. Not. Say. “We”.
Thank you . Can you also tell me about the compensation to expect, like base, bonus and stock! I am having 6 years of experience and I believe it is level 6 position.
You’ll get an offer for around $140 base with stock on top. Note: most people don’t make it to the first vesting period. (>70%) So, the stock may as well be pretend money.
Someone might be assigned to give you a whiteboard exercise, in which case, they’ll talk about the customer problem you’re solving, and ask you to walk through your approach/design on a whiteboard.
Hey! Did you end up getting the role? I have an upcoming onsite too so I’d love any advice :)
No , I did not end up with an offer ..
Oh dang I’m sorry. How did you find the interview (questions etc) and what was the format?
Hey, I have an on-site with Amazon next week, and I’d love to get some advice from any of you who’s done it recently. Appreciate any help :)
I imagine you didn’t get the role? I’m looking at Amazon design roles also.
Designers @Amazon, can someone speak to the pip culture and if and how much it impacts designers? Need to make a decision by tomorrow and thoroughly confused.

Sounds like the standard portfolio presentation you give anywhere else Just explain your project, the problem, constraints, etc, make sure to point out what you explicitly did if it was on a team
