Position: Rotational Software Engineer Base: 145k Sign on: 60k I have 5+ years of experience, this will be way more than my current compensation, but wanted to get some feedback about how this looks. Thanks in advance.
What is a Rotational Software eng?
It’s a program that have some coaching before becoming a full time, you basically work with 2 teams and then you “graduate” into full time if you did well.
How was the interview- same as regular swe? How did you get to that program?
Are you a female? Curious.
Macho here
So that's a yes?
It’s a standard REng offer, take it and enjoy. You’ll get RSU when you concert to regular SWE.
Great to hear! Thanks
What were your interviews like OP?
I think did really well on every round but the last one. I got a phone screen, then on-site 2 coding rounds, system design and a behavioral/coding. All coding were mid leetcode level.
Level or Bonus and RSU info needed
The level they’ll put me in after graduating is E4. No RSU(since technically I’m not a full time yet)
Cool will do.
@op how did you prep? My SO is going into an interview. Would love some insights. Also how many sys design questions were there? Feel free to DM me.
Prepared using leetcode/cracking the coding interview. Divided topics and did medium/hard problems after reviewing the theory. I found leetcode premium really helpful. Good luck on your interviews!
Thanks OP.

Do you want to work at FB? Sounds good if so.
Yeah! I’m super excited by the opportunity, have no experience with the ranges of these companies, that’s why I ask.
