Before you put money in it, you better ask yourself couple of questions: 1 - are you speculating or investing 2 - how is the overall economy If you play short term speculating, go ahead and ride with the tidal wave. China economy is slowing down significantly. The major concerns is the credit bubble and the debt level is sky high. On macro level, global economy is slowing down too, not just China. Even Germany is not doing well lately. EU is planning to resume QE soon. Relatively speaking, if you want to invest, US economy is relatively stronger than most countries and US is still the center of creativity and science advancement. Instead of asking what good Chinese ETF to invest, think about what are the technologies advanced, prosperous 10 years from now? And which companies have the best potential and edge to win? Personally, I think that IOT, autonomous technology, AI, cloud are those in the spotlight. And I think Google Waymo, Microsoft Azure, Apple, Uber, IBM...etc, have the chance be the leaders in these areas 10 years from now. Certainly new players could surface during the course. I am waiting for the overdue market correction. Whenever that happens, I will put money in some of these companies. My two cents. Good luck.

Chinese ETFs are expensive. ASHR tracks CSI 300 index but it has expense ratio of 1%. HK.2823 tracks A50 index but also has expense ratio of 1%. Just buy a basket of large Chinese companies from the Hong Kong stock exchange. Many large Chinese banks (Bank of China HK.3988 or Citic Bank HK.988) have dividend yield over 5% and P/E ratio under 5.
