Backend job in the Bay Area. I haven’t heard too much about this company, but it looks pretty cool. Anyone know anything? Do they pay well?
Heard their OC office is a bunch of kids with family money because Houzz doesn’t pay well enough to live in the area Also heard its a good place to work and have seen them in a few articles online
For sales or engineering pay?
I heard it for sales specifically and the overall office. Newport Beach is a very affluent city though so take that into consideration
Yes. Been a great resource for design and architecture. Use it a lot. No real competition.
Sweet thanks!
It’s a glorified interior design firm with referrals to e-commerce hubs. They were hiring in Palo Alto like crazy about 3 to 4 years ago but I think they aren’t growing much at this stage.
We're growing significantly. I have no insight into the Palo Alto office other then the base pay is significantly higher for ever role there. Eng is also the only roles that are offered stock options (sales, supports, everyone else does not). Houzz is a multichannel company, we have DIRECT e-commerce, ad sales (for ecom brands and home professionals), and project management software for professionals to use to run their business. it is not a glorified interior design firm.
Lots of technical development possible imo. More than ads. Lol
Heard of Houzz? YES. Do I know anything? NO. Do they pay well? No idea.
Hey, “Heard of” is a better than not.
