Apple Cupertino Compensation Expectations
Hi, Would like to know what would be the expected pay from Apple(breakdown in terms of base pay/RSU/bonus will help). I have 7 years of relevant experience post masters degree and around 1 year of relevant internship/co-op experience. Also would I be considered for ICT4 level? Appreciate your input!

At what YoE after masters does Apple even start considering you for ICT5? Asking for hardware/ops side, because that's likely where OP is getting offer from
U will likely never ever make ict5 in Apple ops. I have seen so many good men lost since they never saw ict5 in that org.
Question: According to levels.fyi, I think I might be at the border of ict4 and 5. I've been told that it's very difficult to get in as a 5 at Apple. Thoughts? Not sure how much I should emphasize on trying to get an offer as a 5.
Google, unless u are a household name in your area recognized by IC industry, do not expect ic5 at Apple ops upon entry. You can get ic5 for sure. But comes with a lot of references from other companies.
How different is in other orgs? (I don't think the team I'm interested in is ops. And actually I'm a SWE, not hardware) Looking at the levels.fyi again, for a 6 at Google, it should translate into ict5 if the chart is correct.
Very different in non op orgs. Swe pays significantly higher for same level. For example swe ict3 would bring in 230k easily whereas same level ict3 in hw would be 180k tc.
