Apple EPM job interview went very well. But recruiter is not replying to emails about job status.

So I had interview at Apple for an EPM role. The on-site interview went very well and I am confident that they liked me. (9 people interviewed me back to back, 30 mins each) The original recruiter said she will let me know the result 1 day after interview. But she went for a month long vacation immediately after. Now I am contacting alternate recruiter from her OOO notice but haven't gotten a reply in a week. What to do?

Contact the hiring manager for the position. He/she probably cares about this more than anyone else. If you don’t know who that is, or Apple doesn’t work that way, then try and contact any one of those 9 interviewers.

That's what I thought.... 12 interviews in total, at least they should have a decency of sending an update.

Don’t worry about it - if the HM wants you they will get in touch- Getting good people is very hard at Apple and no HM drops the ball that badly.

If they don’t get back it usually means they are not moving forward. Apple recruiters (and I many others ) don’t care to respond back to the person who made it till on-site and spent many hours in interviews and many days in prep. Emailing hiring manager and few other folks whom you can get email id would be your best bet ! It’s pathetic that company (recruiters) treats candidates like a shit if they are not moving forward !
